What I've already done:
Washed it out with Simple Green and a garden hose - got all kinds of black crud. Of course, it flash rusted while drying.
Here's what I'm planning:
a couple handfuls of clean gravel mixed with phosphate to knock out the rest of the junk, followed by a rinse with denatured alcohol, then coating with a fuel tank liner.
Sound okay?
