My buss wont start unless i pour gas in the top of the carb. Once iI do that it starts right up and everything is gravy. If I turn it off and let it set more than like 5 hours I have to do the dump trick. Whats up with this? Anyone know what the deal is?

I'm guessing the idle circuit is clogged? Also check the extra "squirt" jet isn't clogged.
If you pump the petal several dozen times will it start?
Maybe check to see if the cut off solenoid is broken? That just happened to me.
Is the electronic choke functioning correctly? -
